This is the best site on the internet that I know of.
The Ultimate guitar.com site is worthless for what you need to learn.
That site is more for AFTER you learn to play the guitar a bit.
It is only there for someone to learn a SONG and not how to actually learn to play the instrument.
Tabs are a completely worthless way to really learn how to play guitar.
Tabs are for people who want to shortcut their learning so they can try to be instant rock stars and impress the chicks.
But they won’t impress any true guitar player.
PLUS the tabs are often very wrong!
Do yourself a favor and go to all-the-chords.com. If you learn the guitar well, you wont need tabs, you can figure songs out all by yourself.
That’s how I became a professional musician. I didn’t have the internet and tabs and all that crap. I learned my guitar. That’s it. After 4 or 5 years I was able to learn most of the songs I wanted to play just by playing along with the record and figuring out the notes myself…Easy.
Once you learn some guitar basics, a few months worth…go ahead and check out ultimate guitar for an easy song to start trying to learn.
Search for "how to read guitar tabs" on google and you’ll bunches of links that will show you how to interpret Tabs.
BUT LEARN THE BASICS FIRST!
