Ok so i am thinking about taking guitar lessons. I am 14 ( mi dad says im old for it and u need to start learning wen ur like little but i think it doesnt matter) . I was wondering if you guys noe where i can get guitar lessons in queens and how much do dey cost? Also can anyone plz tell mi where i can get a nice guitar for begginers ( not expensive)! Thanks
There are websites like guitar.com that can get you started. I’ve been told there are also some lessons on youtube. You can start at any age. I started at 12, my son started at 14 and got good enough to join a band, and I had an uncle who started classical when he was 40! Before you buy a guitar, go to a good guitar store and hold and play a bunch of them. Remember the brand you like and then go online and compare prices. I play acoustic guitar, and I bought a good one on line for about $200, but I knew what I was doing. If you want to learn electric it will be more expensive because you’ll need an amp and some sort of speakers. You can usually find teachers through the guitar stores. They can charge anywhere from $20 – 40 per lesson. As a beginner you’ll need to do a lot of practicing on your own to build up your calluses, so I would try a website or youtube before I shell out money to a teacher.
