Taking lessons from a private teacher also has some disadvantages. Your lessons are normally weekly and set for a certain time which may not always be continent plus you really need to practice more regular to get really good and of course you have to pay weekly. These costs can really become expensive. You have to work the lessons in around your busy life and finally, you have to pack up your guitar and get to the lessons.

    What is the best way to learn Acoustic guitar fast without wasting time?
    I heard someone play and the dude was great. He said he taught himself and he only been playing for a year. His guitar had more than 6strings though. What ya think?

    Some people have a knack for picking up guitar quickly, but either way I’d say take at least a few lessons with a qualified instructor, so you at least know you’re starting out right.

    If you have the desire to practice almost every day, you should get better

    Well first and foremost thing is that you shud own a guitar, and if available and feasible, a good one. I own onw from Yamaha.
    Now coming to your question, it depends on what type of learner you are… you should be dedicated and have someone to tell you some basic tips.. after that you can go along yourself…
    You should take care of your beating, changing chords come second, firstly you should do something like this… 1 2 3 4, beat the same chord four times slowly.. and do take care of timing…do it slowly, don’t miss even one string while beating as per the instructions for playing that specific chord…
    Ive only been playing for a month and now i kno almost all basics,, and i can play any song provided to me after few practices….and meet out your friends for help.. it will quicken your pace,,,, you can become better than you dude in 6 months if you play well…….. n hey i’ll be playing knock knock by GNR and singing it in our school function shortly.. me a guy who has had a guitar only for a month!.. you can download easy chord
