What are some easy guitar songs that I can play without a capo?

I like and variation of rock, alternative, and I like country. I never took any lessons, but I understand the basic chords and stuff.

Stratplayer is right. You CAN play just about any song you like without a capo. Since you like country, and in my opinion, country is maybe easier to play then some other styles, try something from that genre. Perhaps some Eagles, which would have some cross-over qualities. Although they are mostly pop, I would suggest Jim Croce, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, or Jimmy Buffett. There are thousands of songs with basic chords and no capo, that you could pick from.

    You can play any song without a capo, the only thing that a capo does is allow you to pay open chords in a diferent key.

    Mostly you should think about playing things you already like alot. The more you like it, the easier it becomes to play.
