What is a good website to learn how to play the guitar?

I’m an absolute beginner and i was wondering if there was any good websites that had easy to understand guitar lessons for a good price.

PluckandPlayGuitar has free video based lessons for absolute beginners and assume you know nothing or close to nothing.

It takes you step by step through the basic guitar chords one by one. There’s also lesson on guitar scales, techniques and some easy songs to play.

    have you tried looking on youtube? sometimes there are some really helpful tips.
    i learned from ultimate-guitar.com, it is free, and pretty easy once you know the basics…i had help from a friend for the basics.

    If you are really serious about playing well, I would definitely recommend this package. It is so simple and amazing. I thought I was OK when playing. Since I picked up this DVD series, I can nail Joe Satriani or any other amazing guitar work.
