  I learned to play guitar Via the internet and a poster with chords on it. I did it by looking up how to play songs with the guitar TAB ( Tabular) which shows you the chords and such drawn out. you have to be careful because some are inaccurate. but once you learn the chords you can look up songs with chords instead, or make up your own stuff.

  In argos in the musical section next to the guitars theres a dvd or cd (cnt remember) and its cheap and it teaches you how to play the guitar im buying it soon … goodluck learning how to play the guitar x

  I’m sure that some can learn from the Internet, but I prefer using teacher, I think there’s more discipline when using a teacher…..I’m not crazy about the free sites, I don’t think that there complete enough, but because you can’t afford the paying sites here are a few that I’ve looked at.

  Getting a teacher can really help you learn. It that’s not for you then there are a lot of free lessons on the internet. Also take any chance you have to go to open jam sessions and play with other muscians. You will learn a lot form this and people will be able to answer questions for you.
