Really need help..guitar lessons online?

I'm trying to learn guitar online. I've tried Guitartricks.com & youtube. They don't start at the very beginning. I know absolutely nothing about guitar and really want to play. I'm really getting discouraged. The thing about youtube is that you can't pick out the first video in a series of lessons. Please help me. Any tips? ..Websites? I'm really getting discouraged. Thanks.

it is good to play with other guitarist, then form a band, it is like, a good team, to preform. do it wif some friends.;l

    On the left-hand side of the screen, under the section Learn Guitar, click on Beginner Guitar Lessons. On that page scroll down and click on The Beginners Guide to Playing the Guitar.

    That's the best online guitar lessons site I've come across. I use that as a second teacher, in addition to lessons.

    there is a video that is for very beginners on youtube. its was the video i used, i still look back at it and tell people to take a look at it.

    he has a few more videos, his next videos are in the video response, or check his channel.

    once you learn how to do things in the video and are comfortable, go to youtube and type in "guitar chords" results should show up, and videos will help you for guitar chords.

    good luck

    and once your ready, you can start playing songs by reading tabs. google "how to read guitar tabs"

    the best way to learn is from someone else, or take lessons, so that he or she may show you proper positions, bad habits, and everything else.
    i would highly recommend that once you get the basics down to start lessons.
