What is a good website that has free online acoustic guitar lessons without any membership or downloads?

I have an acoustic guitar, and I’ve always wanted to learn how to play it, but I can’t afford lessons !! So I was wondering if there was a website that had a good instructor, that could teach me how to play the acoustic guitar without signing up, or having to give out my e-mail address (no membership…).

i’ve seen some free online lessons but they’re mostly very weak and incomplete. my best suggestion would be to get a decent book (it costs less than an hour of lesson) or try to teach yourself if you have some musical background. but it would be probably good to ask someone you know to teach you the very important basic (posture, etc)

   As a music instructor I’ve reviewed a few online music lesson programs out of curiosity. There are a few effective and affordable online guitar methods. I’ve discussed some of these in a recent blog if you’d like to check it out.
