i really really really need help reading tabs. so this is like a song by paramore called here we go again and im really really like having a hard time reading this. like i just don’t have any clue how to read it. i know how to play guitar very well and nobody taught me how to play it at all. so i never knew how to read tabs ‘cos i didn’t have guitar lessons.

ok, tab is easy when you work it out
anyway obviously the
E
B
G
D
A
E
represent the 6 strings, with the E A being at the thickest strings
the numbers represent the fret, so if it says –10– you play the 10th fret
when it goes
E—–16——–16——-16—-14—-1…
B–14—-14–14—-14-14—-14—-14–…
G————————————-…
D————————————-…
A————————————-…
E————————————-…
you play fret 14, on B string, then fret 16 on E string
if the two numbers are directly above each other, like below, they are played at the same time
E–14—————————–…
B–14——————————-…
G————————————-…
D————————————-…
A————————————-…
E————————————-…
you play the two notes
and
E—–6/7—–
means that instead of playing the notes individually, you slide across from fret 6 to 7
finally —12 (x7) means you play fret 12 seven times
hope that helps and sorry if it doesn’t
good luck
