if you could have any one in the world give you guitar lessons who would it be?

if i could bring randy rhodes back from the dead he’d be my teacher when it comes to soloing

paul gilbert and buckethead n yngwie malmsteen would be my teachers when it comes to shredding

and for technical skill id have to go with joe satriani
and randy rhoads….and buckethead..and paul gilbert n mix em all up and create a sound so diabolical it will make your soul throw up

    Doc Watson – he’s the reason I learned to play the guitar. He’s a national treasure. He’s won eight Grammys including a Lifetime Achievement award, lots of other awards, and has appeared on scores of records.

    Chet Atkins would be my number one choice, but he passed in June 2001. I’d consider studio guitarist Brent Mason or Tommy Emmanuel.
