actuall, an electric guitar has 6 strings, and a bass guitar has 4 strings. if you want to be in a band choose guitar cuz they say that the guitar player is the coolest in the band.

Depends on what type of music you are playing. I think both have amazing techniques that can be used, jazz bass is amazing, I love it. It really depends on what you're planning on doing with it.

From my point of view, E.guitar is harder than bass. There are scales and chords and lots of strumming techniques for e.guitar. Bass is easier to play with single note but difficulty grow if you play specific parts for bass.

I've never played bass before but i would have to say that it is easier than playing guitar b-cuz guitar playing is much more complicated in learning how to get the rhythm together, i'm not saying that bass playing is easy but it is in my opinion less harder than playing an electric guitar.

bass strings are harder to pluck, but there are less strings so bass is definitely simpler to play. if you want to solo, then i'd advise learning the electric guitar, because hardly any songs feature bass solos...

Is an electric guitar harder to play than a electric bass guitar?
I know the electric has 5 strings and the strings are smaller than a bass,but which is harder?And which is more fun to play?
