Should I get guitar lessons or carry on self teaching

I have been self teaching guitar (electric) for about 3 months and to be honest i’m not really getting anywhere. I want to be in a rock band one day and im really interested. I can play a few riffs (smoke on the water, sunshine of your love, the james bond theme, the godfather theme, half of the american national anthem, voodoo child, seven nation army, sweet child o’ mine, and slither.) I really want to move on so are lessons worth the cash and roughly how much are they – im 15 so my parents will probably pay
